Hi, I'm Anna, the founder of Melbourne Creative Studio.

I'm a fashion designer, embroiderer and maker with a passion for creating thoughtful, handcrafted pieces that celebrate life's most meaningful moments. Whether I'm designing a bespoke bridal veil, stitching a personalised keepsake or collaborating on a creative project, I'm drawn to work that tells a story through textiles.

Before founding MCS, I completed two degrees in Fashion Design and spent years working within the Australian fashion industry, developing products for some of the country's leading fashion brands. From concept development and technical specifications to garment construction and production, that experience taught me to appreciate not only beautiful design, but the precision and craftsmanship behind every detail.

While I loved working in fashion, it was creating my own wedding veil that changed everything.

Designing something so deeply personal reminded me why I fell in love with textiles in the first place. I wanted a veil that reflected our story, something created slowly and intentionally, with meaning stitched into every detail. What began as a project for my own wedding soon became MCS, a place where I could combine my fashion background with my love of embroidery to create heirloom pieces for others.

Today, Melbourne Creative Studio specialises in bespoke bridal embroidery, handcrafted veils and personalised keepsakes, working with couples across Australia to create pieces that become part of their wedding story. Every design is made with intention, balancing timeless craftsmanship with a contemporary approach to bridal design.

As the studio has grown, so too has the work I create. Alongside bridal commissions, I also partner with fashion brands through freelance fashion design and product development, and offer live embroidery experiences for weddings, luxury retail and brand activations. While each service is different, they are all connected by the same foundation: thoughtful design, technical expertise and a genuine love for working with textiles.

One of my favourite parts of what I do is getting to know the people behind each project. Whether we're designing an embroidered veil to honour your family, creating a keepsake gift or planning a live embroidery experience for your guests, I believe the best pieces are the ones that feel deeply personal.
