Creative Freedom in Every Stitch
Welcome to Melbourne Creative Studio, where every stitch tells a story.
I’m Anna, the hands, heart and needle behind Melbourne Creative Studio.
This little studio was born from a process I’ll never forget: making my own wedding dress. That quiet joy, the beauty of slow craftsmanship, and the emotion of creating something so meaningful sparked everything that MCS is today.
What began as a creative pursuit turned into a heartfelt business, one that now helps brides all across Australia hold onto the moments that matter most.
Before starting MCS, I spent years studying the art and technique of fashion, graduating with two degrees in fashion design. Since 2019, I’ve worked in the corporate fashion industry, designing and developing collections for some of Australia’s most recognisable brands. That experience refined my eye for quality, detail and fit, but it was always the personal, meaningful pieces that lit me up most.
At Melbourne Creative Studio, I specialise in hand-embroidered bridal veils, personalised handkerchiefs, and custom keepsakes made to tell your story. Every piece is designed and stitched in my Mount Martha studio, with an emphasis on detail, elegance and intention. I believe in doing things slowly, beautifully and thoughtfully, with every stitch a little love note.
Whether it’s a veil full of shimmer and sparkle, a handkerchief with your grandmother’s handwriting, or a pair of bespoke tulle sleeves for your wedding day, I take pride in creating heirlooms that feel personal, modern and timeless all at once.
I work closely with every client to make sure your piece reflects you. That might mean stitching a hidden message into the tulle, choosing the perfect thread colour to match your dress, or creating a completely custom artwork from scratch. I’m here to guide you gently through the process, keep you updated along the way, and make sure the finished piece is one you’ll treasure forever.
Thank you for supporting local, handmade and heartfelt. I’m so honoured to play a small part in your story.
